Luntiang Aghama Appeal to our Government Leader

300px-2016_Philippine_State_of_the_Nation_Address.jpgTomorrow July 22, 2019 the President of the Republic of the Philippines will deliver his message about the State of the Nation to the House of Representative as it open the 18th Congress of the Philippine Republic. The President might talk of different issues such as China and Philippine Relations, the War on Drugs and other matter of National Concern but as an individual citizen of the Republic of the Philippines here is what i notice that need to be addressed and to deal with this year on the 18th Congress of the Philippines.
I am Rev. Rolando Gomez Comon, Chief Priest and Founder of Luntiang Aghama Natural Divine Arts Shrine of Healing Inc. as a Chief Priest i was given a Juridical Personality through the virtue of Republic Act 11232 or the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines and as a resident of Barangay Francisco Homes Narra, City of San Jose Del Monte, Province of Bulacan, Republic of the Philippines. The needs that i will state herein is based on the actual situation i see everyday in our Locality.
Francisco Homes Narra is Barangay situated in the City of San Jose Del Monte, Province of Bulacan that has 7, 152 individual according to 2015 Census. This small lively village of San Jose Del Monte City is a home for educational institution, churches and business establishments and it becomes the Heart of Francisco Homes Subdivision as the Transportation terminal and market place is situated in this village. The presence of small to medium enterprise business establishment makes our Village to be a rising barangay towards development.
In our Area which is at Lot 79 Phase A that is located nearby schools such as Berlyns Academy and First City Providential College; and Churches such as the God’s Sovereign Grace Community Baptist Church and Iglesia Ni Cristo, i see room for improvement to maintain peace and orderliness in our Village.
First, i appeal to have a safe Pedestrian for the Students and Church goers.  Since Lot 79 Phase A is nearby Francisco Homes Road which is the main road of our Subdivision it is deemed right that our students and church goers can walk safely without the hazard of being caught by moving vehicles.
Secondly i appeal, that private cars going to school be regulated and limited since Francisco Homes Road is just a narrow road. And with it the private cars use the pathway of pedestrian to park their cars leaving no space for pedestrian. Instead of using private cars in going to school, i propose to encourage car pooling, school service van, or use public utility vehicles instead of private car. This will also provide more income opportunity for our low income Jeepney and tricycle drivers, and also will lessen the carbon emission that contributes to Global Warming.
Thirdly, in order to keep the street safe for Pedestrian i appeal our Local government to provide a proper Terminal Space for the Tricycle drivers that illegally occupy the path walk as their terminal.  Providing them space will keep our small village in order.
Fourthly, i appeal to ban the Use of Plastic as a form of vessel/container to food and drinks. Business Owners specially on Food Industry must refrain serving food in plastic container as well as in paper box form.  Consumers who eat on the go or take out tend to throw their garbage any where that contribute to pollution problem in our Village. Instead of take out and food on the go, let our Food Business Owner to encourage Dine In eating. By doing so, we will inculcate the value of spending quality time on eating as well as the health benefits of taking time on eating. Aside from the health benefit it does it also protect our environment from garbage pollution in our village.
With regards to small scale businesses such as Fish Ball vendors, kwek kwek, siomai and the like, i appeal to our Local Government Officers to find them a small space such as what Barangay Lagro did nearby SM Fairview to operate their small business and at the same time our local official can regulate them in following the law and ordinance of our village.
Keeping Safe, Peace and Order of our Community is the content of this appeal that we pray to become an Ordinance in our Village and also towards the City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
Sincerely,
Rev. Rolando G. Comon
