There is Harmony in Diversity

Last night i filmed an Episode for Peace Prayer TV taking about our individual differences and how we can come together and be united as a Whole. This is one of my ministry in Luntiang Aghama which is to weave peace by sharing the message of Peace. As we all aware that ALL LIVES MATTER, but we are asked re phrased that into ALL LIVES are SACRED.

This Video talks about the opposing factor that is present in our lives. So as finding that within us there are opposing factor and differences but it come to work in harmony to one another and seen as a Unified whole.

On the Video Description and on my Facebook post i wrote the following words:

What if the sound of music you are listening is just one tone? What if all the face you see in the community are all the same? Will you be able to identify the person you are looking for? What if all part of your body is just the front and no back?

Since we enter the month of June it means that we have successfully surpassed the months of March, April and May. These months are the difficult times that we have because almost the whole world are under lock down and community quarantine because of the Pandemic of Corona Virus. Even we are all under lock down and quarantine, instead all of us are helping one another to fight the effect of Pandemic to our World, there are still people who does violence to other People such as to what had happened to a Black Man in the US named George Floyd. This situation becomes popular not only in America but it goes viral around the World. Almost everyone is talking about George Floyd and shout that Black Lives Matter. I see also our Filipino Friends that lives in the US are affected because of the situation that happened.

Indeed we are all different from one another. We are different from the color of our skin, the shape of our eyes and nose, the language and diction we speak, the religion and political point of view that we believe in and so much more. But let us not use these differences that we have from one another to eliminate each other. Our differences must co exist and when it does our differences will not be differences any more but it will become diversity.

We have talked in our video presentation the what if of life. We asked our viewers that what if everyone around us look likes us, how can we identify the person who we want to communicate with? What if the Sound of Music that we are listening to our device bears the same tone, will it still be pleasant to hear? What if the two of our feet is both left and there is no right, will we be able to stand and walk and dance?

The world that we live in is created in polarity which means to have an opposing factor. The world has north and south pole as well as the east and west. So as in our Physical body we have our front and back, top and bottom. Everything is different but it comes together to make a unified whole.

Our left foot does not hate our right foot. It works well together to support our upper extremities even it is part of the lower extremities. Our hand can do many things if both hands will work together as one. So as the multitude strands of your hair are different from one another, but it was placed on the top of your head to make you beautiful. So as each cells within your body unites as one to make you an Organismal System that perfectly work out to make you a living Human Being.

Let us all remember that being different is Okay. Being different to other people makes us unique and special. And use that Specialness within you to appreciate the Specialness of others too.

In science, when they find a creature that is rare and almost into extinction, what they do is that they cultivate it and make it reproduce. This is what we need to do, we have to cultivate our uniqueness and reproduce it so that the whole world may appreciate you.

It is the same thing that happened to me before the lock down was implemented. I’ve been hospitalized due to over fatigue. Early this year, we accommodated 7 foreign students to learn Hilot from us and at the same time we are attending to Hilot clients. Since i was hospitalized, i was struggling which thing should i continue doing and what should i stop. I am deciding between teaching and treating. I thought to my self if i choose to treat people, i can only treat people one at a time. And when i got sick, the treatment session that i provide will also stop. But when i teach and share my knowledge to other people, even when i am sick there will be someone who can do my work of treating people with hilot. And this is what i choose to do, to share my knowledge to people that will continue the work of healing that i am doing. So does that mean that you are not conducting treatment anymore? No but i still do accept people to be treated. That means i just multiply my self and make my self free from limitation of time and space.

This is what i am telling you. You are Special and Unique. Accept who you are. Cultivate and multiply your uniqueness and share your self to your community. Teach respect to your self and people will respect you whoever you are.

With these, i send you Blessings in Peace.
