How do we build our Faith in the Deity?

It was through Hilot or the Philippine Traditional Medicine where i was introduced to the worship of the Old Filipino Gods and Goddesses as i search for the Filipino Deity of Healing. That was in 2010 when i found Kilubansa on Internet as he was described being the Filipino God of Healing and the Father of Dihas, the Goddess of Medicinal Herbs. Through my Devotion and Dedication as Traditional Medicine Practioner, it help me to discover the ways of Healing of the God or Diwatang Kilubansa. There no much article written about this God, and to some existing coven’s here in the Philippines they disregard the gods that has no article written about them whether on the Internet or Books that can be found in the Library. But in my mind, Kilubansa is a God and was used in Role Playing Games as a Healer. And in the Gaming World they have made this  God powerful by reviving the health of their warriors/players. In my eagerness to know this God and use his blessings in our everyday life, i use the skills that i know to open up the door of mysteries that this God of Healing will bring into our life and that is how discovered the Kilubansa Healing Method or the Kilubansa Elemental Name Energetic Balance Analysis.

Kilubansa is just one of the many Gods and Goddess that the Philippine has before the Colonization. In order to understand our Pantheons of Gods and Goddess, there must be knowledge and understanding about them. Since they are Divine, knowledge about the old Filipino Gods and Goddesses will not be found in the Academic Institution or written documents but through Faith. This is the primary difference of Luntiang Aghama which is a Pagan/ Wiccan Church in the Philippines towards other Major Religion in the Philippines. We gain knowledge and understanding of our God through Faith and experiencing them fully in our lives and not through books and written scriptures.

Luntiang Aghama believe that the Filipino People even before colonization of Spain, we already possess our own Culture and Tradition. Most of my Foreign Students in Hilot testify about it that we are still Blessed because we still remember who we are even before colonization. And the wonderful thing about us is that we still preserve and promote it in our lives as we teach and promote hilot to the world. Now-a-days, Hilot becomes the doorway of the people around the world to experience authentic Filipino Traditional Healing. Since it is a Healing Modality, it invokes the presence of the Old Gods to make healing works in their life. And through the work of Healing, we as Manghihilot or Hilot Binabaylan becomes the mediator of Men towards Divinity.
