Facing the Wall is a form of class room punishment in schools that aims to teach discipline and focus to the pupils. This was before as i remember how our teacher discipline naughty and noisy students.
Since Facing the wall becomes a classroom discipline when we were young, we have subconsciously brought this discipline as we grow up. Facing the wall make us see limited space thus focusing only to our self.
In our daily life today as a grown ups, we too are facing many walls. These walls are the wall of being self centered and selfishness of each individual. Growth is necessary to everyone but growing alone is not an ideal one. Focusing too much to our selves have made this wall strong that made us to be selfish. And because of our selfishness we develop greed that make us covet other possession that is not our own.
As an individual Peace Weaver, i have seen this wall that makes mankind separates from one another. People are separated to one another because of our Age; to some because of their height; color; size; weight; intellect; property; gender; religion; nationality and race. These are some of the factors that contributes to discrimination, and discrimination that brought inequality among us all.
Our Teachers just aim for us to learn Focus. But we are fast and great learner that we learn how to prioritize our self and grow. It is not bad to grow but as we grow, we need also to enjoy life in living harmoniously to one another without harming anyone. It is nice that we grow old with someone in our life, and as we grow old with someone special in our life then we can say that indeed we enjoy our life.
