Binabaylang Tala studies Water

For about almost a month we have studied and attuned to the power of Water.

Magically water is aligned to the direction of the west; to the astrological sign of Pices, Cancer and Scorpio; In Cartomancy it correspond to the Suits of Cups and Heart; and pyschically it refers to Love, relationship, happiness, harmony, sensitivity, emotion and fulfillment.

We also have learned that Water is a Child of Air since its elemental composition is from Hydrogen and Oxygen. It also has a traditional function of cleansing, transforming, transporting, binding, and reflecting.

Water is also part of our being, since our Body is also made up of Water that can be seen through our blood, hormones, tears, saliva, urine, sweat and other  bodily fluids that cool us down. It also help us grow such as we give water to the plant. When we are tired, water can refresh us and renew our strength. It can also provide comfort. I remember my mom give me water after i cry, or a friend offers water as a gesture of kindness and hospitality. There are also many emotions that can be described on different form of water; and the bodies of water has become a witness on our life events such as at birth we enter the world delivered by the placental water in our mother’s womb and at death traditionally some people were buried to the sea.

Water is essential to life without it our existence will not be possible. We encourage our Shrine members and followers to take action in making Water Holy again as we believe that all forms of waters are Holy and Sacred.

Your trash and household garbage that been collected and thrown to dumpsite and landfill produces Leachate which is a liquid juices that been produces by garbage is absorb by the land that later will contaminate the source of our water that we use in our house. With this poisons we create everyday, it does not only poison the land but it also poison all creatures such as the agricultural land which is the source of our food and later it comes to us as Humans. We as members and followers of Luntiang Aghama must posses a sense of Social and Ecological Responsibility of Saving the Earth by saving it we also save all the creatures within it that include us. By simple reducing the use of Plastic, Re Using and Re Cycling will help much to lessen the environmental harm it do to Earth.

As Binabaylang Tala, we dedicate our Selves to become a Shining Star in the midst of Darkness as “Tala” means star in Tagalog. Let our light shine by doing the first work of helping our environment. Let us practice the Magick we possess in our hands now by not throwing to the street the candy wrappers, coffee cups, plastic straws and cups from our well loved Milk Tea and Juices.

Do not let Mother Nature take her revenge on us. Our Environment may be destroyed but not Mother Nature. As we destroy the environment we are also destroyed. But Mother Nature will just take time to be healed again when we as Human who destroy her are gone on the face of the Earth.
