Spirit Possession

Last Wednesday night I posted a Video on our YouTube Channel as a reaction towards a Spirit Possession that happened during a Live TV Interview.

Though this video already gained many reactions from the Netizens and some people ask for our reaction that me and lakay decided to talk about this on our YouTube Channel.

In this video we talked about the validity or legitimacy of the Spirit Possession as well as the possible problem of the person why she poses to be possessed by the Spirits. Though at the end of the Video, I also discuss the different manifestation of Evil Spirits, because in the video shown it seems what she manifest is the Spirit of Anger. This video we have posted also gained many comments that i will try to answer here.

Yes Correllian Tradition and Luntiang Aghama does not conform to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and Christian Religion, but that does not mean that we do not believe in the Divine Healing because Divine Healing is not Exclusive to the Roman Catholic Church or Christianity Alone. No Religion has an Exclusive Rights to the Divinity of God. And God is powerful enough to make manifestation to all beings regardless of Religion, Nationality, Gender, etc. The Saints, Mama Mary or Jesus is only few of God’s manifestation to the world so that Humanity may come to God. This does not mean that they are the only manifestation of God. So as the Holy Spirit it is not EXCLUSIVE to the Christians alone. Remember our indigenous ancestors have Diwata as manifestation of the Holy Spirit which is beneficial Spirits that help mankind and Aswang as common manifestation of Evil Spirit.

To clear things up, the theory of evolution of Charles Darwin nor the Bible story from Genesis are not the sole basis of explanation on how human being exist in this world. Though the Correllian Tradition of Wicca shared to us the Descent of the Goddess which is written by an American Humorist and Folklorist, Charles Godfrey Leland and in Luntiang Aghama we subscribe to the Creation myth by Kabunyian. As Wicca, we recognize the Bible as scripture used by Christians but our recognition to the bible does not mean that we believe and follow what it teach. The Bible too is not exclusive just for Catholics, it can be easily obtained in bookstore unlike the Quran which you can only have it in Islamic Mosque when you ask a copy of it.

It is not that we do not believe on the Devil or Satan. Just to remind you, as Wiccan we do practice Tarot Reading, and in our Tarot there is a Devil Card, this already prove that we recognize the existence of the Devil and Satan. What we do not believe is like what the Christian think about the Devil or Satan, We do not entertain those thoughts that satan or the devil could control and manipulate our lives. Satan as the Christians been taught as an Enemy of God, but for us in Luntiang Aghama, we see Satan being the most faithful servant of God which does his work up to this date. For me Satan should not be feared of because he is too much busy doing his work in pulling us down to maintain the gravitational pull that all things must be stepping their feet on the ground. This is the reason why as Human being we should work out to ascend ourselves toward meeting our Spirituality by striving to live within our Higher Selves and not to our Lower Selves, because our lower selves is under the realms of satan and the devil. With these, I should remind you that whether you like it or not, Satan has a strong hold on you, so don’t be dragged down by him so be always aware and enlighten.
