22 years ago when we got our first Family Computer and Internet connection in Bulacan. I was so excited by that time because we could level up the way how we do our homework. I only know computer as a tool used by office workers in computing and documenting stuffs. But when we got internet connection, i see different thing. I know internet can be a source of information as well as a tool of communication. But now-a-days, Internet becomes everything now.
19 Years Ago on the month of December on the 13th day of the Year 2000, i started to establish an online group at Clubs Yahoo! which is called Luntian and later on it was known as Luntiang Aghama until it gain its Philippine Government recognition as a Religious Corporation Sole on 2012.
Luntiang Aghama was purely online group that aims to conduct research and study of Paranormal, Metaphysical and alternative religion and spirituality not until February of 2007 that it becomes a Wiccan Shrine of the Correllian Nativist Tradition.
As a research and study group aside from my computer and internet connection, i also obtain a notebook and a pen where i wrote down what i found on the internet. I made that notebook special by writing a sigil on the first page and a dedication page which is commonly known as a book blessings to all who are studying Magick and Mysticism. Every year from year even earlier than 2000, i bought notebook where i write my daily experience and learning from the craft. To some it is a magickal diary or Book of Shadows as they said. For me that book where i write down what i learn through research becomes a sacred part of me. If people will see it, they will find my transition from being a Christian to Chrito Pagan to a Full Pledge Wiccan and Revivalist of Filipino Indigenous Spiritual Tradition.
The book blessing that i wrote in my magical journal was a mixture of Christian and Pagan names as i dedicated it to the name of “IAMRANU” which i a combination of the name I AM the Christo Judaic God, Ra who is an Egyptian and Anu a Mesopotamian God. On this journal you can read the basic foundation of my Faith which is the Wiccan Rede and other precepts that made me of who i am right now.
Last night while having conversation with Lakay Magbaya as we welcome the month of December which is our Anniversary month of the Shrine, i talk to him the direction where our shrine should go in the Future. I told him that it is already 8 Years when a group of coven meet up to organise the practitioners of modern magic and Neo Paganism in our Country of which many of them have underground covens and to some do their practice as a solitary. Indeed it will still be everyone’s free will and choice to remain underground and solitary. But when it comes to Faith Building, an individual must be firm to embrace the knowledge that they have learn from studying the craft.
The true evidence of Learning is when you can apply what you have learned. And applying the learning you gain become your practice; and the practice you perform obtain result becomes your Faith. This is what i learn in doing magic: you study, perform, believe that what you do will obtain result. It is not enough that you only know it. Apply the knowledge and it will give benefit on your part.
