Remembering all Souls

Life is what characterise our existence on this planet, and through this life we live. But what make us alive is our soul who dwells in our body that makes our body just a dwelling place for the real us which is our soul.

Manunggul Jar

Most ancient Filipino Tribal Tradition teaches about soul and not only one soul but multiple soul in one body. Our soul is the identity we have that make us alive. The spark of life that animates our body to make it move, feel, think and so on.

In Luntiang Aghama we believe that as human being we posses 7 souls, and the first soul of us arrives at birth and gradually as we age the other souls arrive to help up grow mature until the time we come back to our source of creation which is at death. And during death our soul has been reunited to our creator which is the one who give us soul and make us alive and allow us to experience life on Earth.

Our soul has their own activity doing their part so that our living experience would be more worth while. Since the Divine Timing is different from the Physical Time that we have in this world, our multiple soul is working hard to make our life experience on this plane of existence be sufficient enough to make us ascend into perfection that we might return to our source with value.

As our body moves in to experience life, our soul align these experiences to our real nature which is connected to our Creator. If our actions are not aligned to our real nature which is the purpose of our existence we get sick and our body is coping up to the life lessons.

In maintaining life to our body we do things such as eating, drink, exercise and rest. Such activities will build up our physical body. But our Soul also needs maintenance that is why there are also soul nourishments that we need to do to build up our soul in perfect shape and condition.

Prayer, Devotion, Meditation, Rituals are only some of the things that could help our soul to be in perfect shape. As the body get sick, so our soul and it also needs healing.
