A Reflection on the Global Peace Situation and Our Sacred Responsibility
As we stand on the threshold between months, we now arrive at the final day of May 2026. With grateful hearts, we pause and give thanks to the Divine—Bathala, the Source of Life—for guiding us through the fullness of this passing month.
May has not been an easy journey for the world. Across nations, we have witnessed conflict, suffering, displacement, and uncertainty. Wars continue to wound the human family—from Sudan, Gaza, and Ukraine to the broader tensions in the Middle East. Political divisions and tensions around justice and sovereignty have also surfaced, including those that affect our own beloved Philippines.
And yet, despite all of these, we are still here.
We have endured. We have continued to pray. We have continued to weave peace.
For this, we say:
✨ Salamat sa Dakilang Maykapal. Salamat sa gabay, lakas, at pag-asa na ipinagkaloob sa amin sa buong buwan ng Mayo.
Entering June with Intention
As we prepare to welcome June 2026, we do not enter blindly—we enter intentionally.
We invoke divine grace that:
We may pass through the coming days with strength and clarity
We may endure the challenges that may arise
And most importantly, that we may experience and embody the blessings of love and peace

June 15, 2026: Global Peace Prayer Focus
As members of the Interfaith Order of Peace Weavers, we dedicate June 15, 2026 as a Unified Day of Prayer for Global Peace, Justice, and Sovereignty.
On this day, we are called to consciously direct our prayers, energy, and intention toward the nations and regions most deeply affected by conflict and instability.

🇸🇩 Sudan – for protection of civilians and end to violence
🇵🇸 Gaza / Palestine – for healing, relief, and restoration of dignity

🇮🇷 Iran & Middle East Region – for restraint and prevention of wider war
🪶 Prayer Intention:
Protection, ceasefire, compassion, and healing of trauma

🇺🇸 United States (global influence in decision-making)

In these times, we are reminded:
🕊️ Peace is not only negotiated in halls of power— it is invoked, sustained, and embodied by those who choose it daily.
As Peace Weavers, our sacred duty is threefold:
To pray deeply – aligning our spirit with divine peace
To hold space – for healing beyond division
To act consciously – in harmony with compassion and justice

Great Bathala, As we enter the month of June, we entrust our path to You.
Thank You for Your guidance throughout the past month of May— for the strength in the midst of trials, and for the light in the midst of darkness.
As we face this new month, grant us courage, peace of heart, and clarity of spirit.
May we experience the blessings of love, unity, and peace— not only for ourselves, but for the whole world.
Make us true weavers of peace, in every word, every action, and every prayer.
