“The Wind of Change have stirred up the fire”, this is the vision that I saw when delivering the Oracle of Janus during our New Year’s celebration ritual of 2023 at the New Temple of Janus headed by Rt. Rev. Lady Elizabeth Hamilton AP. And this wind have struck us now in the Correllian Nativist Tradition by the Hospitalization of M. REv. Lord Donald Lewis Highcorrell, AP CCE and passing the Chancelorhood to M. Rev. Lady Stephanie Leon- Neal, AP, CCE and it is heightened with this Video Announcement:
Following this video is an official written statement from M.Rev. Lord Donald Lewis Highcorrell from his Facebook Page saying:

Greetings everyone,
I would first like to thank everyone who has been praying and sending healing energy and good wishes to me. Thank you all so much. Please know that I greatly appreciate each of you and all your efforts.
During the twenty days I spent in the hospital I did a lot of work with the Ancestors, and they had many things of importance to say to me. Most important is that this near-death is the beginning of a new chapter in my life. This event happened just days after my forty-forth anniversary as First Priest of the Correllian Tradition. The Ancestors have told me that in these forty-four years I have fulfilled the promises that I made to them and have successfully completed my spiritual mission on their behalf. This does not mean of course that I will no longer be working with these things, but the principle goals have been successfully achieved.
Consequently, having taken counsel with the Ancestors, I feel that the time has come to follow First Priestess Krystel’s example by Retiring in Office and allowing others to guide the way into the future. This does not mean I will not still be around. As a reminder, the First Priesthood is an office for life and cannot be resigned. But one can Retire in Office. Like Lady Krystel I will retain the rank and powers of my office but will retire from using them on an everyday basis in favor of a successor. Like Lady Krystel I will retain my position on the Council of Elders and will take on the role of an elder statesman, here to advise and assist but passing on the day-to-day duties of the office of First Priest.
As with Lady Krystel and the investiture of her successor Lady Stephanie, the situation differs from what would happen if I had actually died, in that I can simply name my successor and proceed. My successor will be known as First Priest Regent until their investiture, and First Priest thereafter, although I remain First Priest Retired in Office. My chosen successor has long been known to the First Elder Right Reverend Alyssa Maxon Kemp and First Priestess Most Reverend Stephanie Neal.
My chosen successor is His Grace the Right Reverend Ser Phoenix Coffin-Williams, Arch Priest and Lord of Holistic Knowledge, who with this proclamation becomes His Eminence the Most Reverend Phoenix Coffin-Williams, First Priest Regent. (By virtue of their role as Tradition Fons Honorum the First Priesthood do not use the style Ser even if otherwise entitled to it.)
With this act the entirety of the Correllian leadership is now composed of students trained through Witch School: Chancellor and First Priestess Most Reverend Stephanie Neal, First Priest Regent Most Reverend Phoenix Coffin-Williams, First Director Right Reverend Ser Jason Highcorrell, and First Elder Right Reverend Alyssa Maxon Kemp. This is a seismic shift and is part of why my mission to the Ancestors is completed, as part of it was creating a standardized training program which is now complete and eminently successful.
As First Priest Retired in Office I will continue to guide and advise as needed and will devote my Correllian efforts to spiritual pursuits including writing, teaching, and oracular work.
I have absolute confidence in Lady Stephanie and Lord Phoenix as First Priesthood, as I am sure you do as well. Lady Krystel and I, who now stand with one foot in the Court of the Ancestors, are proud to see them move forward and are proud of all of our fine Correllian people. Truly, it is all of you who have made this journey, with its many joys and sacrifices, worthwhile. I commend Lady Stephanie and Lord Phoenix, and all of you who form the Great Family.
May you be blessed!

This is a Retirement Statement so as an Appointment Statement, Appointing one of our Archpriest in the tradition who is the Rt. Rev. Phoenix Coffins- Williams, AP to become the First Priest Regent. And this is the acceptance message of our new First Priest Regent:

SERVING THEM WITH FIDELITY.
Hello my loves!
As you have by now noticed, our First Priest M. Rev. Donald Lewis has chosen to retire in office. Furthermore, he has chosen to name me his successor.
I never would have thought this is where my path would lead. Little old 7th grade me, doing my clergy homework in secret, taking books of magick out from the library, communicating with others in yahoo messenger groups and comparing quiz answers with Alyssa. I was 13 years old then.
In my time serving as a priest in this tradition I have been blessed with a family of choice with bonds so strong no force could break. I have been able to learn and grow spiritually according to values that resonate fully with me. I have been able to utilize my skills and platform to impact healing in my communities. Indeed I have even been able to greatly impact my relationship with my ancestors and family of origin.
I have experienced so many blessings as a result of my choice to be a faithful member of this family and these blessings remind me of a saying a great mentor of mine used to repeat: “to whom much is given, much is required”.
I have found this to be true time and time again.
Since our ancestors see fit to continually bless and uplift me, and have called me to work in this capacity, I pledge to collaborate with them and my siblings in this great family as I continue my service to the tradition as First Priest Regent.
I pray our Ancestors continue to share their splendor as we continue our great work.
Blessings on you now and always,
Rev. Phoenix

From the First Elder Rt. Rev. Alyssa Maxon Kemp
Sometimes our Service to the Tradition takes us places we do not expect. One of the main duties of the First Elder is to be the Keeper of the Succession. In my capacity as First Elder I have long known that Lord Don’s choice was Lord Phoenix and I have kept that knowledge as it was not yet mine to share.
Now that Lord Don has made his wishes known and announced that he will be retiring I can Congratulate both of these amazing men, my Uncle and my dearest Brother. May you both continue to serve honorably and well. May you take the energies of new beginnings that are inherent in the Spring and use this to help forge this new path.
Most of all I am excited to witness the birth of our Traditions future, not many people get to see the tree that they planted bear fruit but Most Rev. Donald Lewis, you get to witness our Tradition for the first time in its history being completely led by Clergy who have been taught by your curriculum. Truly amazing. We Thank you, Your Eminence, and I love you dearly; I wish you all the best in your retirement, knowing that you will always be there with sage advice. Most Rev. Phoenix, my brother, may you prosper in this new role as First Priest Regent, and follow always the voice of the Ancestors. May their Blessing Be Upon You. Blessed Be.
And finally we can also read the confirmation massage from the Correllian Traditions First Director who is Rt. Rev. Ser Jason Mycroft Highcorrell, AP CCE
