As part of introducing What Luntiang Aghama is all about, we have made Visibility program in our YouTube Channel as a way of educating the Public of What Luntiang Aghama does.
Primarily, Luntiang Aghama is a registered Church in the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission and a Chartered Formal Shrine of the Correllian Nativist Church of Wicca, and the foundation of Luntiang Aghama’s practice is based on Psychism; and as Filipino we are re introducing Philippine Indigenous Spiritual Practices and beliefs.
With these we dedicate our Monday Programing in discussing Wicca as a Religion and its practices, while on Wedneday we devote it in teaching the basics of Psychism that will help out the viewers to develop their Psychic Abilities; and every Friday we are building bridge to understand what is almost forgotten which is our Filipino Indigenous Spiritual Beliefs through our Binabaylan Study Nights. Earlier this day, i made a video recording in response to a question from a viewer asking how many husband or wives should an Individual Wiccan Could have, and my response will be published on June 7, 2022 by 8:00 PM at our YouTube Channel. I will add the link here so you could watch it.
As I scheduled it as Premiere Viewing, I also make a Community post at YouTube to invite our Subscriber to watch, and someone commented on my post. And you know what, i learned something new. In this video i have discussed about monogamy, polygamy and polyamory. But there is new word that I learned and that is Polyandry which means that a woman can have a multiply husband. While polygyny pertains to a man having multiple wives. I might discuss this on a separate video, but i have to connect back to the principles of Luntiang Aghama.
Luntiang Aghama is about achieving Spiritual Growth and Advancement, though one of the Goal of a Wiccan is to achieve balance, so as Luntiang Aghama we strive to see the Spiritual into Mundane as part of practices of the members of the Shrine.
In terms of having partners in life, such as in having a husband or wife; i believe that this will be of legal matter which concerns the mundane living. In reality as Church Clergy, we can perform all form of Peaceful Ritual and Ceremony even without permission from the mundane government except on conducting Marriage Vow.
Marriage is an act of legal recognition in union of two people as partners in a personal relationship, and with that a Solemnizing Officers (mostly Priest) requires special license from the Government (such as here in the Philippines from PSA).
Even our law is still struggling if they will recognize the Union of Same Sex Partners.
With regards to the beliefs of Luntiang Aghama, our Ancestors believe that Marriage is a license of the couple to have Sexual Intercourse and in creating their own Family. Specially to the Conservative Filipino’s that been deeply indoctrinated with Catholic Teachings that there should be no sexual intercourse without marriage first.
But now-a-days, Filipino are celebrating their Freedom, and one of it is in indulging to sexual pleasure. Well that is part of being Human. But in the Scale of Spirituality, Sexual Lust is on the lower scale of feeding our Lower Self; and Marriage could help that. But more than one sexual partner, I think it is not on the way through Spiritual Advancement.
