If you are wondering how Landas ng Lahi came up, it is an acronym of our name which is Luntiang Aghama Natural Divine Arts Shrine (LANDAS) and Lahi comes from supposedly Luntiang Aghama Healing Institute which now known as Hilot Academy of Binabaylan or HABI.
Today i’ll be answering question that been asked to us from our YouTube Subscriber named Miss Sagittarius. And she asked:
Well she is asking if Hypnotism is real and why the hypnotist has the ability to control the mind of other people.

According to Google, Hypnosis is the induction of the state of consciousness in which a person apparently loses the power of voluntary action and slightly responsive to suggestion or direction. I also mentioned in this video that some use Hypnosis in some therapeutic procedures such as in Alcoholism, Nicotine Addiction and even substance abuse.
If we are going to search videos in YouTube, we will find some Hypnotic act used for entertainment such as this from Stokes Twin and Incredibleboris.
On these Videos we see Hypnotist plays with their subject by distorting their minds with tricks. Here we can see that before Hypnotism takes place, the hypnotist must have consent from the subject by asking them some gesture that will serve as the subjects consent to be hypnotised.
But is Hypnotism Bad?
According to Clevelandclinic.org, Hypnotism can be considered an aid to hypnotherapy because the hypnotic state allows a person to explore painful thoughts, feelings and memories that maybe hidden from the conscious mind. It also enables the person to perceive some things differently such as blocking an awareness of pain. So like what we are teaching in the Shrine, this technique can be a two edge sword which can be used to do good or bad.
But as we go deep studying hypnotism, we notice the effect of this technique to be similar to Gayuma.
In my practice of Magick and Hilot, we encounter some people asking us some potion that will make other people fall in love with them and obey them as what they will. These are common misconception of people as well as inner most desire to have power over some one whom they like. It is desperation already that they want other people to be controlled like a switch and do what as they say.
Unfortunately, this situation also happens to everyone as well all become a victim of Mass Hypnotism by Commercialism and Capitalism!
In this modern days, we are tied up to the thought of having money is the way how we can live. We are all centered on having money to buy our living. But this is not all TRUE!
The reason why we live is because we have our own Life Force within our Body. And this life force allow us to move and grow. Our movement affects other people either beneficially or malevolently. So the result of our action still depends on how we make it move.
Sometimes our own action also serves as hypnotic stimulus to others that influence them to do the same thing as we do. Our appearance and behavior too can attract other people to like us.
So it is advisable to live consciously because our life style might also affect other people lives.
