It was on 2014 when i met the Goddess Sekhmet on a meditation while i was sitting on my workplace at Al Jafen Sports Club in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was during the sundown prayer while sitting inside my room that i feel my body get numb. As i look up to the ceiling, i saw dark clouds that open up and the sun radiates it’s light to my face, then from the radiating light i saw a lion running towards me as it comes nearer the lion transform into a woman dressed in red gown, then i was relieved from my numbness.
After experiencing that weird vision, i ask my self if there is a Goddess that looks like a Lion and to my search, it leads me to the Goddess Sekhmet.

With the revelation of the Goddess Sekhmet into my life, i have even made a devotional chant in Honor of her which you can see below.
But who is the Goddess Sekhmet and what is her importance now at the time of Pandemic situation of the World?
Sekhmet is an Egyptian Goddess of the Sun, War, Plagues and Healing. She is known to be the Daughter of the Sun God Ra and was often associated with the Goddess Hathor and Bastet. According to Ancient Egyptian Online her name is often translated as the “Powerful One” as her name is derived from the word “Sekhem” which literally means Power. So how does the Goddess Sekhmet can be related to the Coronavirus Disease?
According to the legend, the Supreme God of the Sun which is Ra becomes angry to mankind because they were not following his law and preserving Maat which is known as Justice or Balance. The God Ra decided to punish mankind by sending the aspect of her daughter, “The Eye of Ra”.
He plucked Hathor from Ureas on his brow, and sent her to earth in the form of a lion. She became Sekhmet, the “Eye of Ra” and began her rampage. The fields ran with human blood. However, Ra was not a cruel deity, and the sight of the carnage caused him to repent. He ordered her to stop, but she was in a blood lust and would not listen. So Ra poured 7,000 jugs of beer and pomegranate juice (which stained the beer blood red) in her path. She gorged on the “blood” and became so drunk she slept for three days. When she awoke, her blood lust had dissipated, and humanity was saved.

For my commentary, i made a video that states how the Goddess Sekhmet is related to the current pandemic situation of coronavirus disease.
We have learned from here that mankind have angered God by violating God’s natural and universal law that is why mankind has been punished by sending the Goddess Sekhmet to restore balance and justice. Now-a-days, specially at this moment of writing, humanity is suffering from the Coronavirus Disease which affect almost affect 2,489,956 people around the world and making 170,552 people to die. And through this rise of pestilence among mankind, it reminds me of the Goddess Sekhmeth as the Lady of Pestilence that afflict and punish mankind. But the good news is, the Goddess Sekhmet does not only dwell on her title as Lady of Pestilence but she is also Goddess of Healing and Medicine as she was revered by Ancient Doctors and Healers of Memphis.
I was intrigued to see you connect Sekhmet and the coronovirus. I prayed (cursed) to Sekhmet a couple years ago for a few months. It was out of desperation, frustration and pain because I want to help wild animals around the world especially in Africa, China and Japan. All I want is for us to change or die. We have the option to adapt. I still pray, I continue to curse, to stop the abuse or it will get worse.

There is a similar Goddess to Sekhmet which is of Hindu Origin. Her name is Kali. Mankind is getting worse. Sometime the cursing becomes a Blessings to earth.
