In our prayers to the Ancestors, we have desired to build a Temple in honor of them. As modern people already have stablished strong Humongous Chapels and Cathedral to their God, whereas we as Maaram of Luntiang Aghama has no permanent place to see and talk and celebrate our Worship to the Diwata, Anito and Engkanto.

We have been to Hong Kong last September 20-22, 2024 and have seen Yaumatei Tin Hau Taoist Temple to see the Gods Tin Hau, Shing Wong and Kwun Yun. Tin Hau means Queen of Heaven but also called as Mazu who is a Chinese Sea Goddess which I relate her to our Sea Goddess named Amansinya which is our Goddess of the sea. It is said that Mazu is a deified form of Lin Moniang which is a Shamaness from Fujian who is said to lived in the late 10th Century. After her death, she became revered as tutelary deity of Chinese Seafarers, including fishermen and Sailors. While Shing Wong which literally means City God that is believed to protect the people and the particular affairs of the particular village and the corresponding location in the afterlife. The last God is the Goddess Kwun Yun which is Kwan Yin known as the Goddess of Mercy. We can see in their temple that Buddism can mix with Indigenous Spirituality, in this case the Taoist Religion.

It is the same in Japan where every city and town, you can find a Temple or Shrine that people could pray to their local Gods. Obviously, our neighboring countries have preserved their indigenous religion unlike us which can rarely be seen unless a person knows our History. By September 29, 2024, at the advent of having Second Moon in our Planet which is the visitation of a small asteroid named 2024 PT5 which the Correllian Nativist Tradition who is our Mother Church believe it to be Odin’s Eye and for us here in the Shrine, we call it as Mayari’s Eye. We started to make renovation of our Shrine located at Lot 79 Phase A Francisco Ave., Brgy. Francisco Homes Narra, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines with a coordinate of 14′ deg. 48’39″N and 121 deg. 3’22″E.

This land property belongs to my Father Rolando Dolar Comon, and he make me manage the middle lot where we established our Shrine and Healing Center. The whole property has been there for almost 24 years and many parts of it has been teared off and it’s about time to renovate it and make it look new.
I am grateful that I’ve been trusted by people in the United States of America by serving them for a month to raise fund in renovating our Shrine. The total estimated cost for the Renovation will amount to Php 265,905.00 or Usd 4,719.81 only. I am relieved that the work I did in the US can pay for the labor and cost of materials in Rebuilding our Shrine. And really, I am grateful enough that these are happening now.

As it happens, me and Lakay as Keeper of the Shrine must endure for a while, as the process of manifestation is not pleasurable, just like in tooth extraction, there is a little discomfort, but when everything is done, all will be well. For our Diwata, Anito and Engkanto, you will have now a permanent home with us as we continue to serve your Honor and Glory will be with us. May you continue to call the people whom you have chosen and bring them to your Home and walk back to the path of our Race and worship together to the Templong Anituhan ng Luntiang Aghama which is your home. Mayari Na! PagAsatin!
