There is no better place like Home

I wear my Nanay’s Chaleco as I went out of the Shrine to make a Home Care Hilot Visit. I don’t usually do Home Visits anymore but made an exception out of the request from a Good Friend in Netherlands which is a fellow Manghihilot. I am with Lakay as we went to project 6 to treat Mohammad Aydani who came from Belgium. He is here in the Philippines to stay permanently. I ask him why he is moving out in Belgium and decided to stay here in the Philippines. He said that the cost of living in European Countries is getting Higher but the income opportunity does not fit their cost of living. Since he is a Business Man, he is establishing Business here in the Philippines, to help him self so as our fellow Filipino in the country. He shared to me of his vision, and I am impressed.

While going home at the bus, I think of what Mohammad shared to me, and I realized why we Filipino love foreign people like Mohammad, and that is Foreigners who come to the Philippines brings money to us through giving us opportunity to have employment. Then I remember my situation when I was in Saudi Arabia that some saudians hate Filipino and I ask my Arab friend why some of the Saudians hate us. And he said, those saudians think that we are stealing their opportunity to be employed as most of Saudian Employer prefer to employ us. And another friend in Saudi which is a Bangladeshi ask me that why we Filipino in Saudi dont make business in the kingdom whereas our salary are much higher compared to Bangladeshi and some Indians. I have no answer for that, probably because we spend more time to give quality service to our employer rather than spending time to make business of our own.

But it is a real challenge for us as Filipino to give opportunity for others rather than just to receive. This is also a Challenge to my Fellow Hilot Trainer in Tesda. Indeed we earn a living out of teaching Hilot, But aside from teaching we should also be an expert in proving Hilot and not only teach. I also remember our sentiment before when I was a Spa Therapist, that we wish that our General Manager at Spa should be a therapist as well and not only an expert on Business Management and Accounting. But when I became my own boss in providing hilot and also in teaching, it is also my wish to learn Business Management and Accounting because what I know is limited only in doing hilot and sharing what I know. And to be honest, I do not consider my self as a Teacher but only a Sharer.

With these tonight, I ask everyone to focus on the world economy. as it seems that people are fleeing away from their home country and seek refuge from other country such us ours. If they think that their home country is falling down, does that mean that our country is rising up? But then I acknowledge that life is like a wheel, sometimes we are up and sometimes we are down. But in this revolution of our life, we should not loose hope but always keep in mind the Teaching from our Prayer the Ladder of Peace.

So let us Pray:

There is one Power in the Universe and we are the Perfect Manifestation of that Power and for as such we pray for Peace.

We Pray for Peace; We Pray for Love and We Pray for Stability.

We Pray that all the people around the world to embrace Peace.

Peace that promotes Justice; Justice that follows Discipline and Orderliness; Discipline and Orderliness as a result of Understanding; Understanding as a product of Knowledge; and Knowledge as a fruit from the seed of Love.

Oh Great Supreme Divine Spirit; We your Children come before you and ask for blessings of Courage, Bravery and Strength. So that through these blessings we might overcome all forms of evil, fear, hatred, terror, violence, warfare and worries around the world.

By the power of Love that give us Life; May Peace prevails on Earth.

May all the people around the world be blessed with Peace; May all the inhabitants of Mother Earth enjoys the blessings of Love.

As we create and manifest these in our lives, by our Unified will with aiming no harm to anyone, and in Full Gratitude to the Divine,

We Accept and Receive it, And It is So, So Mote it Be!
